Banyana star and Boots for Africa gives back

Banyana Banyana striker Rhoda Mulaudzi joined hands with not-for-profit organisation Boots for Africa to donate over 300 pair of soccer boots to teams within the Mudavula Village in Limpopo on Sunday.

The event was also attended by Limpopo MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Thandi Moraka as well as deputy minister in the presidency, Thembi Siweya.

“I decided to give back to the community because I was one of those players that grew up without soccer boots,” Mulaudzi told FARPost.

“It was hard and difficult especially when you are playing something that you love and you also want to see yourself playing for the national team or playing overseas so that’s why I decided to donate.
